Just how much you should pay for a custom logo design depends on several factors. A fast internet search will show that logo prices range from $50 to $50,000 depending on who you decide to hire.

There is a good reason for the big difference logo design prices. A $50,000 logo price tag would usually be part of a detailed branding campaign strategy custom designed by branding consultants. The campaign cost itself may reach 7 figures.

This kind of package is more appropriate for Fortune 500 companies who can afford such a large fee. Branding campaigns like this are the reason for the global recognition of Nike’s Swoosh logo. Big multinationals like Samsung and Nokia spend millions annually on branding and rebranding initiatives.   

Not surprisingly, a large number of businesses are unable afford the expertise of branding consultants. A more reasonably priced manner would be traditional logo designers. The logo design rates from such designers are around $1000 to $2000 per custom logo design. A big chunk of their time is spent researching the company, its philosophy and its past. Since all this takes up valuable time and time is money, they thus have to charge for it. This kind of service is ideal for those who prefer to speak at length to designers and are not in a rush to receive their designs.
