Off Site Back Up now has built-in support for Open Files.  This means that you can backup files even while they are in use.

For Open Files Support to operate, the following conditions must be met:

Off Site Back Up must be installed on a machine running Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 or later.

The files being backed up must reside on the same machine as the Off Site Back Up software.  Open Files Support does not work for files on network drives.
